Volunteer Opportunities

Kitsap Habitat Store cashier

Store

Partner with us in our Store!

We utilize volunteers in our Store every Monday through Saturday. These volunteers help keep the Store clean and organized. They accept donations, stock shelves and load furniture into buyers’ vehicles. Volunteers with special skills test and repair items like appliances, electronics and furniture.

Project volunteers

Special Projects

Partner with us on a special project!

Individuals and groups are needed to revitalize neighborhoods by painting, landscaping and making critical repairs.

Connect Team

Partner with us at community events!

Connect Team members attend festivals and gatherings across Kitsap County. They share the Kitsap Habitat story and invite others to become a part of that story. If you love connection and communication, consider joining this group of dedicated volunteers!

Construction volunteer

Construction

Partner with us on the build site!

We have a dedicated team of volunteers who work on our build site each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. While additional volunteers are sometimes utilized for larger projects like framing, our greatest need is for regular, long-term volunteers (e.g. retired contractors, plumbers and electricians, as well as aspiring builders). When you make a long-term commitment, you help us move our mission forward with maximum efficiency, helping more families find safe, decent, affordable places to call home.
