New Volunteer Orientations
It is important to us that volunteers understand the mission of Habitat for Humanity and become familiar with basic construction safety before beginning to volunteer. Therefore, we require all volunteers to complete our New Volunteer Orientation. This orientation can be completed in one of three ways.

Office Orientations: Orientations are conducted at our offices according to this schedule. Click here for a map to our offices. This 1-hour orientation includes the 11-minute safety video and instructions on how to register in VolunteerUP.

Online Orientation: Complete the following prior to coming to the jobsite.

•	"An Introduction To Habitat" (pdf) presentation.
•	Construction Safety Video . Click here to install RealPlayer if you don’t have it.

(Please note: Viewing the Construction Safety Video is mandatory for all construction and Builders Bargains volunteers. It is not necessary for office or committee volunteers. If you cannot view the video please read and sign the Construction Safety Guidelines.)

Group Orientations: For groups of 10 volunteers or more, orientations may be scheduled with our Volunteer Coordinator at your location. This 1-hour orientation includes the 11-minute safety video and instructions on how to register in VolunteerUP.

Registration
Click on the button to your left and sign up under "I am a New Volunteer." Fill in all required fields.

Once you are registered:

•	For construction, please sign yourself up on the calendar for the day(s) you would like to volunteer. Also, print and sign a liability waiver (pdf) and bring it with you the first time you volunteer. Click here for a youth waiver (pdf) if you are under 18.
•	For Builders Bargains, call the store at 360.377.1800 to schedule your first shift(s). Print and sign a liability waiver and bring it with you the first time you volunteer.
•	For office, committees or any other volunteer opportunities, Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, at 360.479.3853 or via email.
