Habitat’s building materials store is able to provide the funds for approximately two Habitat homes per year, in large part, because of the generous volunteers who work at the store. One of our most popular volunteer opportunities, Builders Bargains has two main positions open to volunteers:

•	Warehouse Workers (PDF): Receive, unload, sort and stock shelves.
•	Cashier (PDF): Operate cash register and credit card machines.

Builders Bargains is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. The shifts are in 5-hour intervals, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm and 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Double shifts are possible, especially when someone needs to complete volunteer hours quickly. Alternate shift lengths can be arranged with the store manager.
